Ingredients
- 1 1⁄4 cup(s) butter
- 1 cup(s) Sugar
- 2 cup(s) flour
- 1 3⁄4 cup(s) ground almonds
- 5 tbsp 4.25kg pail)
- 1⁄2 cup(s) confectionary sugar
Directions
- Mix sugar and butter. Beat until fluffy
- Mix in flour and almonds
- Form the mixture into 2 evenly – sized dough balls
- Refrigerate the mixture for 60 minutes
- After 60 minutes roll out dough ball 1 – thickness of .15 inch. Cut into circles and then cut small hole in center/top of each. Top Cookie 2
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- Bake all circles 12-15 minutes. Let cool for 25 minutes
- Spread the Hero Fruit Spread on base cookie 1 (no whole)
- Place top Cookie 2 on top of Base Cookie 1 (allow fruit to peek out)
- Sprinkle confectioners sugar on top of each cookie
- Ready to serve
